Unfair treatment exists in plain view and less obvious ways in employment, wages, background checks, access to housing, mortgages, appraisals, interest rates, business loans, credit approvals, access to healthcare, access to education, voting rights, bullying, victimization, law enforcement interactions, criminal justice disparities,
and numerous other metrics that are deemed slanted from the outset. A consensus of studies show, that gender, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, lifestyle and other factors can in-fact shape the likelihood of one attaining prosperity, longer life expectancy, and happiness, or having a much more difficult time trying to succeed. Legally, of course, this should not be the case.
